On December 7, 2017, Mayor Eric Thompson spoke with students at William F. Cooke Elementary regarding his position as Mayor of the Town of Elsmere prior to their Mayoral election for “Biz Town”.

10/27/17 – News Release – All Saints Catholic School “Serve-A-Thon”

On Friday, October 20th, All Saints Catholic School students volunteered 500 hours making PB&J sandwiches and blankets for the Emmanuel Dining Room, cleaning up Elsmere parks, reading to daycare children, entertaining Veterans at the Veteran’s Hospital (playing piano and cards), and making breakfast for the community.

10/13/17 – Bark Park Reopens

Town’s Dog Park Reopens

At 8:15 this morning October 13, 2017 the Town of Elsmere Bark Park reopened.  The park had been closed for approximately one month while the Town investigated concerns over the pesticide that was used at the park from one of our citizens.

The Town reached out to the State of Delaware Department of Agriculture for assistance in determining what the results of testing collected by our citizen actually meant.
