Oak Grove Senior Center, Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization that cordially invites everyone 55 years of age or older, without regard to race, creed, color, sex, economic status or national origin to enjoy our activities. The Center's primary goal is to promote social, mental and physical well being, as well as providing opportunities for educational programs, services and group activities important to independent living. 

     Weekly activities include; crafts, ceramics, chair exercise, line dancing, card games, billiards, Bible study and weekly grocery shopping and day outings. The Center also provides occasional activities in co-operation with County and State Agencies.

     A Nutritional Program is sponsored by the New Castle County Senior Services and Division of Aging. A hot meal is served at noon on a donation basis. Only people 60 years of age or older are eligible to partake in the lunch and breakfast program.

    The Center provides daily free transportation and a handicap accessible ramp is available. We are located at Town Hall, 11 Poplar Avenue and are open weekdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. For information call 998-3319
