IDENTIFYING PERSONS OF INTEREST |

Elsmere Police Officers
are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
two persons who were at the Adrenaline Skating
Center located at 215 New Rd in Elsmere in the early
morning hours of Sunday, June 27th.
The two black males shown below left the
skating rink shortly before the robbery and may have
important information related to the incident.
If you have any information leading to the identity
of the persons pictured please contact the Elsmere
Police Department at 998-1175 (attention A/Sgt.
Gregg Shelton / PFC Scot Sowden). Tipsters may also
call Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.

LOCK YOUR
VEHICLES AND PUT AWAY YOUR VALUABLES |
We have recently experienced a rash of
overnight thefts from vehicles. A good portion of these thefts have been
from unlocked vehicles.
Suspects (most likely juveniles) are walking the
streets at night and checking car doors. They are entering the unlocked
vehicles and removing GPS and Radar Detectors along with any loose
change or loose articles in the vehicle.
Lock your vehicles and put any visible
electronics out of site. Leaving these items hooked up in your car
invites criminals to steal from you.
Officers have been deployed in plain
clothes and will be stopping anyone walking in the areas at night. if
you see someone suspicious in and around your property or the
neighborhood please call 911 immediately.

Ordinance
Number 511 of the Town of Elsmere, Prohibiting the
use of Mobile/Cellular Phones by the Operator of
a Motor Vehicle or Bicycle is now in full effect!!
Beginning
January 1st, 2010 this violation will get you a fine
of $50.00 + Costs.
This is a
primary offense in the Town of Elsmere,
Elsmere Officer's can and WILL stop you for use of a
Mobile/Cellular Phone while operating a Motor
Vehicle within town limits. |
