The Mayor and
Council may call for and go into Executive Session to
discuss legal or personnel matters. The agenda of any
meeting shall be subject to change to include additional
items including Executive Sessions. Executive Sessions will
be closed to the public and no action shall be taken during
an Executive Session. All action will be taken in open
public session.

The Mayor and Council will go
into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing a
personnel matter. They will return to Public Session.

Approval of Minutes:
1.
Minutes of the April 10, 2008, Council Meeting.
2.
Minutes of the May 08, 2008, Council Meeting.
3.
Minutes of the June 12, 2008, Council Meeting.
Police Achievement Awards:
The Department of Public Safety will issue accommodations to
several officers for their outstanding achievements.
Old Business:
1. Consideration of Resolution 08-14:
A Resolution to authorize investments in the Delaware Local
Government Investment Pool created by the
State of Delaware; designating the official
responsible for the deposit and withdrawal
of such funds; and matters
which are generally related to the pool.
2. Introduction for Third and Final Reading as well
as a Public Hearing of
Ordinance 493.
An ordinance amending Chapter 225 (Zoning)
of the Code of the Town of Elsmere by adding
a new section which regulates the exterior color
of Buildings,
Accessory Buildings or Dwellings located throughout the
entire Town.
3. Consideration
of a request by Councilwoman Personti to appoint Mr. Steve
Burg
to the Town of Elsmere’s Finance Committee.
4. The Mayor and Council will set the salary of the
Police Chief.
New Business:
1. Lease agreement with the Greater Oak Grove
Senior Center.
The Directors of the Greater Oak Grove Senior Center will
address the Mayor
and Council and ask that they direct the Town Manager to
modify the current
proposed lease with the Senior Center.
2. Consideration of a request from the Public Safety
Department to apply for a
CDAP grant in the amount of $43,000.00.
3. Consideration of a request by the Town Manager to
include certain language in
the current and all future budgets.

Ordinance 496.
An Ordinance amending Chapter 171 of the Code of the Town of
Elsmere to provide for civil penalties for violations of the
Property Maintenance
Code.
